Are you an experienced accounting economist with expertise in government accounting and annual financial statements? We are now looking for you to contribute your skills to a government agency during an intensive and important period. Here you will have the opportunity to work with government accounting, annual financial statements, and varying tasks in a professional environment. About the Position We at Perido are now seeking an accounting economist on behalf of our client, a government agency with the mission to deliver administrative services and provide support to other government operations. You will be based at the office located in Sundbyberg in Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work by agreement. The scope of the assignment is 50 - 100% of a full-time position; please indicate in your application which scope you are interested in and able to work. During a period of six months (with possible extension), the agency is seeking reinforcement for its accounting team in preparation for and during the annual financial closing. You will have an important role in the ongoing closing work and will contribute your experience to ensure accurate and efficient accounting during an intensive period. Qualifications (the requirements below must be met and clearly appear in your CV): Higher education in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work. Alternatively, upper secondary education or equivalent in the relevant area plus five (5) years of work experience as an accounting economist Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent Experience with government accounting Good knowledge of common accounting systems (for example Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) Good knowledge and experience in preparing annual financial statements, primarily from a government agency Personal qualities to succeed in the role: being a consultant profile accustomed to serving and maintaining contact with various clients with the ability to build positive relationships with government agencies and clients with the goal of creating satisfied customers. Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Scope and Start Date Part-time 50-100%, consulting assignment for 4 months, with possibility of extension. Start in November.
