Would you like a broad and independent role where you can combine accounting and payroll administration? We are now seeking a meticulous and committed Accounting Economist & Payroll Administrator to a well-established company with headquarters in Skåne. About the Role In this role, you are responsible for both accounting and payroll management. You work closely with the finance function and have an important role in ensuring that the company's financial and payroll-related processes operate effectively and correctly. Your main responsibilities: Ongoing bookkeeping and management of customer and supplier accounts receivable VAT and tax reporting Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reporting to authorities Payroll management and administration from A to Z Administration of pensions, benefits, vacation, absences, and travel expenses Ensuring that taxes, employer contributions, and other payroll-related reporting are completed correctly and on time Support to managers and employees on payroll and personnel-related matters For those with an interest in HR, there is an opportunity to eventually work with personnel administration, agreements, and internal processes. We are Looking for You Who: Have education in economics, accounting, or equivalent Have experience working as an accounting economist Have experience in payroll administration Have strong knowledge of accounting, taxes, and employer contributions Are experienced working with accounting and payroll systems Communicate fluently in Swedish and English Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, you are: Meticulous and structured Responsible and self-driven Analytical and solution-oriented Service-minded with high integrity Communicative and pedagogical About the Position This is a varied role for someone who enjoys having overall responsibility for both accounting and payroll.
