Accounting Economist / Finance Administrator – Jämtland Region
We are looking for someone who works confidently with ongoing financial flows and is willing to take on more responsibility when needed. The assignments range from operational finance administration to independent accounting – and your level of experience will determine which assignments you are suited for.
About the Assignment

The assignments vary in content and can include everything from invoice management, accounts receivable and reconciliations to independent responsibility for reporting and year-end accounting work. Key Responsibilities
Handle supplier and customer invoices, payments, and accounts receivable
Perform reconciliations and ongoing bookkeeping
Prepare documentation for reporting and financial monitoring
Assist in or independently manage monthly and annual closing procedures
Handle controls, documentation, and finance administration
Provide support to operations on finance-related matters
Requirements for the Role
Minimum 2 years of experience in finance administration or accounting
Practical experience with accounts receivable, reconciliations, and ongoing bookkeeping
Strong proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
Excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
Desirable Qualifications
Experience independently managing monthly and annual closing procedures
Minimum 3 years of experience in qualified accounting work
Experience from public sector operations, preferably municipal accounting
Experience with e-invoice flows, procurement systems, or approval processes
Post-secondary education in finance or accounting

Workplace and Work Arrangement
The assignments are located in the Jämtland Region and may involve on-site work at the operation, hybrid arrangements, or in some cases remote work. For certain roles, travel within the region may occur. The exact workplace, working hours, and practical arrangements will always be presented before you commit to a specific assignment.
