We are now seeking an accounting specialist with administrative duties at Skeppsviken Bygg & Fastighets AB in Skövde. The position is a parental leave substitute starting December 1, 2026, and running through February 28, 2028.
About the role
In this position, you will have a broad area of responsibility within accounting and administration, working closely with both the operations team and external partners.
You will be replacing an existing employee who is on parental leave, taking on a varied role that includes accounting, accounts payable, and personnel administration.
Part of the role involves being the coordinating link between Skeppsviken and the payroll consultant. You will not be running payroll yourself, but rather will be responsible for collecting and compiling changes for payroll processing. You will also ensure that the payroll consultant has received all changes and verify that the salaries appear correct based on provided checks.
Your main responsibilities
• Coordinate payroll materials and serve as contact person with payroll consultant
• Prepare documentation for payment reconciliations and reporting to various agencies including Skatteverket, SCB, Bygglösen, and AFA
• Handle personnel, office, and vehicle administration
• Work with accounts payable
• Manage accounting and invoicing for one of Skeppsviken's construction companies in Skövde
• Perform ongoing reconciliations
The position is full-time with working hours Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00.
Your profile
Postsecondary education in accounting
Work experience in accounting, preferably from an accounting firm or accounting department
Experience with accounting and/or accounts payable
Strong administrative skills
A structured and meticulous work approach
