For an established Swedish real estate company, we are seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional with overall responsibility for accounting and financial reporting for the group's legal entities.
Job Description The role involves close collaboration with the CFO and responsibility for monthly and quarterly financial statements, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, liquidity planning, and parts of board reporting. You will also serve as the primary contact with the company's outsourcing partner and be responsible for ensuring quality and on-time delivery of ongoing accounting according to schedule.
Payroll administration is outsourced, so the role includes an internal control and monitoring responsibility for approximately 40 payroll entries, including contact with the payroll provider and verification that the process and delivery function correctly.
You will also be part of the team responsible for quarterly reports and annual reports in accordance with IFRS. This includes responsibility for the financial sections of the quarterly report, such as financial position, results development, cash flow, key metrics, and accompanying financial analyses and comments.
The role also encompasses system administration of accounting systems, time reporting systems, and treasury systems. You will work closely with other colleagues in finance and contribute to analysis, transactions, and other ongoing finance-related matters.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Multiple years of experience in accounting and finance within the real estate industry.
Independent, thorough, and quality-conscious.
Good collaboration skills and thrives in a role with many stakeholder contacts.
Merits include experience with listed companies and IFRS reporting, outsourced finance processes, payroll control, and budget, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
Assignment Length We are seeking someone available for a consulting assignment of approximately one year, starting in mid-November or alternatively in early December.
