Cape East is one of 6 hotels within the Pite Havsbad Group hotel chain, which is Northern Sweden's largest tourism and conference operator with operations in Haparanda, Luleå, Piteå, Hemavan, and Arvidsjaur. Cape East is open year-round with a hotel, spa, restaurant, conference facilities, camping, and more. Cape East was named Spa of the Year in 2011, a title we now intend to reclaim!
At the reception, all matters for both the hotel and spa departments are handled. Some of the work duties, in addition to guest service, include check-in and check-out, taking reservations, cash handling, upselling, and more. As a receptionist, you are the guest's first impression of the hotel and will have a major impact on the service experience we provide. A large part of the work is having a natural sense of service and quality that makes hotel guests feel welcome.
We are currently looking for a couple of receptionists to join our team. Working hours are scheduled shift work according to the hotel's needs, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We believe that you who are applying are passionate about delivering top-class service. You find it easy to meet new people and always have a smile for the customer. You should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritize. We want you to be a social and solution-oriented person who enjoys contributing to upselling. You should enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work independently. You must be able to speak and read Swedish fluently and have good English skills. It is also an advantage if you speak Finnish. Previous experience in the hotel and restaurant industry and good computer skills are also merits. We will place the greatest emphasis on your personal qualities.
