Mo Gård operates group and service homes as well as daily activities in Uppland, Södermanland, Östergötland, and Skåne. Our focus is always to see from the individual's perspective. Through competence, respectful treatment, adaptation, and care, we at Mo Gård create conditions for a good life. Mo Gård's core values are Engaged, Creative, and Trustworthy. In spring 2027, we are opening a brand new adult residential home under LSS in Svedala. Do you want to be part of it from the very beginning and help create a new operation within Mo Gård? Here you have a unique opportunity to help develop both working methods, culture, and daily life based on Mo Gård's values. This is not a finished operation you step into. It is something we build together. Your responsibilities With us, we communicate using sign language (which we offer internal training in) or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. You are part of a work team where you work together to ensure that each individual has meaningful activities and daily life. Your task is to provide support in the individual's daily life and assist according to their needs. You will also assist with everyday matters such as personal hygiene, corrections or repositioning, medication if needed, documentation, and cleaning. You are also expected to participate in the individual's activities, such as day trips or other events. Overall, your efforts enable the individual's right to independence and self-determination. About you We see that you have completed secondary education, preferably in healthcare and elderly care, children and recreation, or equivalent. Experience with challenging behavior and knowledge of low-arousal approaches are merits. We would like to see that you have experience in healthcare and elderly care and that you have previously worked with similar tasks. Knowledge of sign language as well as functional disabilities and experience from psychiatry are merits. As a person, you are considerate and value other people's well-being. You genuinely care about and want to understand others' feelings and needs. You see possibilities in changes and find solutions when situations change. You are relationship-building, create trust, and build good collaborations with both individuals and colleagues. We believe you are reliable, resilient, and can meet both everyday life and challenges with patience and thoughtfulness, while being confident in yourself and having good self-awareness. Since you will be documenting your work, you also need to have a strong command of the Swedish language. Employment We offer a permanent position at 100 percent with a monthly salary by agreement and based on individual salary setting. We apply a 6-month trial period and start date is by agreement. Your working hours will include day shifts, evening shifts, night on-call, and every other weekend. A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide a certificate from the criminal record register and the suspicion register, and that you have a driver's license for a manual car. As part of our recruitment process, we use problem-solving ability and personality tests. Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship verification. You will need to provide a passport, national ID card, or identity certificate. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide proof of a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit according to the Immigration Ordinance Chapter 6 §13a. Selection takes place on an ongoing basis and may be filled before the final application deadline, so do not delay sending in your application. Final application deadline 2027-12-31 We warmly welcome your application!
