About Us Forensic Psychiatry is a unique operation within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Our mission is to provide individually tailored psychiatric care and rehabilitation to patients sentenced to be committed to care, and to care for patients deprived of liberty under other legislation who have a need for acute psychiatric specialist care. The operation has inpatient facilities with high security classification. Your Work Tasks As a security operator, you are part of the security unit and work at the heart of our operation. You ensure that care is provided in a safe environment for both patients and staff. The work is varied and includes: - Monitoring and operation of technical security systems such as camera surveillance, access controls, and alarms - Receiving visitors at reception and conducting security checks - Handling incoming calls, alarms, and incidents in the facility's control room - Cooperation with other units and authorities as needed - Responsibility for conducting security training for the facility's staff, among others Work is conducted around the clock, year-round – which means three-shift work About You Previous work experience in security work or work that the employer considers equivalent for at least 1 year, as well as a B driver's license, physical ability, and normal color vision are required for the position. The following experiences are advantageous: Experience with security checks in environments with high demands for accuracy and attention, including handling of metal detectors and review of X-ray images. Experience in a control room, reception, or other service-oriented operation where you have handled multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience from fast-paced environments, such as hotel or airport operations, is valued. You express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing and can communicate in English. We are looking for someone who thrives in an eventful environment and has the ability to maintain focus and composure even in pressured situations. You have good computer skills and find it easy to familiarize yourself with technical systems. As a person, you are observant and have the ability to make well-founded decisions. You cooperate well with others and contribute to a good work climate.
