Do you want a clear responsibility in quality while getting the opportunity to learn a business from the ground up? BI-QEM AB is seeking a QA Responsible for its facility in Perstorp. Here you will get an operationally close role with responsibility for quality in production and the opportunity to gradually take on broader responsibility for the company's quality and environmental management systems.
About the Position
As a QA Responsible, you will have clear responsibility for quality work related to production and the release of produced batches from the start.
You work closely with production, operators, and the laboratory. You monitor quality results and analyze deviations and trends, and when needed, you initiate adjustments to process parameters to ensure product quality.
The role also includes ensuring that quality work functions in practice. This means, among other things, that instructions exist and that personnel performing tests have the right training. You are also responsible for ensuring that laboratory equipment functions and is calibrated, as well as coordinating daily work in the laboratory.
You also handle customer complaints and quality-related investigations and are responsible for validation and approval of raw materials. Another important part of the role is to drive continuous improvement work in materials and products, work methods, and equipment.
The role also involves contact points outside your own operations, including contact with customers on quality-related matters and collaboration with colleagues at other BI-QEM sites.
In parallel with your operational quality responsibility, you will have the opportunity to gradually learn the business in depth and grow into a broader responsibility. The goal is for you to eventually take responsibility for and develop BI-QEM's quality and environmental management systems according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
The role is located at the BI-QEM facility in Perstorp.
A Role for You to Develop
The role is newly created to ensure long-term knowledge transfer. You will therefore have the opportunity to work with people who have deep knowledge of the company's processes and products to gradually take over knowledge and responsibility from experienced colleagues.
This is a role where you get concrete responsibility from the start, while also having the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and gradually take greater responsibility for the company's quality work.
We are Looking for You
You have a technical or scientific education, preferably with elements of chemistry or process engineering.
You have experience from manufacturing or process industry.
You have experience in quality work and preferably with management systems.
You have good technical understanding and an interest in processes and materials.
You are thorough, structured, and analytical.
You are unpretentious and enjoy working close to production.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
As a person, you are engaged, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy understanding how things fit together, getting to the bottom of problems, and translating your analyses into concrete actions. You take responsibility for your tasks, dare to make decisions, and at the same time have an easy time collaborating with different people and functions.
