In your role as director for our two units, Lilla Lillgården and Lillgården, you will lead a program with approximately 200 children. About the role
The assignment involves leading and developing two preschools with approximately 200 children.
As a pedagogical leader and manager, you are responsible for direction and strategy for each preschool and for ensuring that the education as a whole works toward national goals. The director is also responsible for ensuring that the pedagogical activities are designed so that all children thrive and develop in accordance with the goals and regulations governing preschools. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring that all educators have the right conditions to work according to the preschool's curriculum and for maintaining a good work environment for both children and staff.
As director, you have full financial responsibility for results, work environment, and personnel for your units, with the drive to create an attractive preschool with satisfied children, staff, and parents. You are part of a director group where you have your colleagues as a sounding board and support. You work closely with your school principal and several support functions such as HR, finance, marketing, and quality.
You report to the School Principal.
We are looking for you who
Have experience as a director in preschool or school and have completed or begun a director's program.
Lead strategically with goal and results orientation and strong business acumen in the assignment.
Have the ability to build and lead a thriving organization.
Have very good knowledge of the Swedish language.
Have high digital competence and are quick to learn new systems.
Your personal qualities
You are a positive and creative director who enjoys working closely with your educators.
You come across as clear, secure, and attentive, with a strong ability to plan and prioritize your time based on the program's and children's best interests. You show curiosity about the future and our world and are driven by the opportunity to influence the preschool's role in becoming part of society. You are a driven director with the ability to build contacts and establish collaborations in the city. You deliver what you promise and strive to achieve results with the best possible quality.
Employment type
The position is permanent with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Full-time (100%). Start date by agreement.
