We are now seeking a licensed psychologist for the Adult Habilitation's Autism Team, with part of the position in our supervision team. Here you will have a varied and meaningful assignment where you combine patient-focused psychological work with supervision of staff in municipal LSS activities.
The Adult Habilitation's mission is to provide specialized habilitation and rehabilitation to patients with significant functional disabilities. Our target group consists of patients with autism, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, multiple disabilities, acquired brain injury, and neurological disease. We are organized into three diagnostic teams: the Autism Team, the Neuro-Brain Injury Team, and the Team for patients with intellectual disabilities.
We also have a supervision team that offers guidance to municipal staff working in LSS activities throughout Örebro County. The target group is individuals over 16 years with problem-causing behavior and/or serious additional mental health issues combined with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder. The position is divided into approximately 40% in the supervision team and approximately 60% in the Autism Team, which provides the opportunity to work both with supervision tasks and directly with the patient group.
Duties
As a psychologist in the Autism Team, you will have broad and varied work. Our target group consists of individuals with autism spectrum disorder without intellectual disabilities. Tasks include individual counseling, supportive conversations, and group interventions. We offer both in-person visits and digital care, and provide information and consultation to the patient's network. Collaboration with other healthcare providers and community actors is also an important part of the assignment. You plan your work independently in close collaboration with the team. As a new employee, you will receive mentor support during the initial period and regular external supervision.
The supervision assignment involves guiding staff groups in, for example, common working methods, professional and ethical treatment, action plans, structure, routines, and relationship-building approaches. A central part is contributing to the translation of theoretical knowledge into practical work in the patient's daily life. Assignments come from municipalities throughout Örebro County, which means travel is part of the position.
Qualifications
Licensed psychologist. Experience with the target group is a requirement, and it is desirable that you have in-depth knowledge or training in case supervision. It is important that you have strong collaboration skills and interest in working in a team with other professionals and other community actors. We want you to have drive, the ability to see opportunities and find ways forward even in complex situations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
The position involves travel, so a valid driver's license is required.
