About the Service The counseling services for children and youth in Vansbro are part of Primary Care and offer early, accessible psychological interventions for children and young people up to 17 years old. Children and young people who contact us are triaged through En väg in, a regional intake function. This means you meet patients whose needs and level of care have already been assessed in the initial stage. We work in close collaboration with school health services, social services, and other care providers. The service is under development, which means you will have the opportunity to shape future work methods together with your colleagues at the health center and youth clinic. The counseling services for children and youth in Vansbro are seeking an engaged licensed psychologist who wants to be part of building the future first line of care for mental health within the En väg in initiative. This is an opportunity for you if you want to work closely with children, young people, and their families and contribute to early interventions within first-line care. We are seeking a psychologist with a generalist profile, which means that work tasks may also include counseling work within primary care's broader mission at our health centers if needed. As a psychologist with us, you will work with: Psychiatric assessments and evaluations Psychological treatment, individual or group Parent consultations and counseling Collaboration with other professionals within and outside Primary Care Development of the counseling service's methods and procedures You work independently but with support from colleagues in a safe and competent team. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed psychologist You hold a driver's license category B and drive a car Meriting: Experience working in first-line psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, pediatrics, or school health services Specialized training in psychological treatment or other relevant advanced training Personal Qualities: Have a strong ability to build relationships and provide a sense of security Are flexible and interested in development work Thrives in both independent and team-oriented work Personal suitability is decisive.
