Do you want to contribute to equitable, health-promoting, and legally sound student health services for children and students in Upplands-Bro Municipality? We are now seeking a licensed psychologist with experience in school psychological work and an interest in combining professional psychological work with psychological leadership responsibility. As a psychologist with psychological leadership responsibility, PLA, you will have an important role in developing, quality-assuring, and supporting the municipality's psychological student health work. You will be part of the Resource Unit within Upplands-Bro Municipality's Education Office, where you will work together with engaged colleagues to create favorable conditions for children and students' development, learning, and well-being. Job Description In your role as a psychologist with psychological leadership responsibility, you will work both with school psychological interventions and with ensuring that psychological work within student health's medical services is conducted safely, legally, and with high quality. You will support and guide the psychology team in matters concerning profession, methods, procedures, documentation, and quality. You will contribute to developing shared working methods and written procedures, and ensure that the operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and governing documents within both education and health and medical care. Your assignment includes, among other things: - working with school psychological interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels - having psychological leadership responsibility and contributing to safe and quality-assured psychological operations - supporting the psychology team in professional matters, assessments, and method development - developing, advancing, and following up procedures, processes, and working methods - contributing to quality management systems, self-control, and systematic improvement work - ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and governing documents - collaborating with school leaders, student health teams, guardians, and other relevant stakeholders - contributing to a good collaborative climate and a learning culture in the psychology team The role requires you to balance the demands for clarity, quality, and compliance with a responsive and collaborative approach. You will be an important function in creating alignment, support, and structure in psychological student health work. We are looking for you who have: - Swedish psychological license - experience working as a school psychologist - good knowledge of relevant legislation and governing documents within both health and medical care and education - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing - good ability to develop clear written procedures, processes, and materials Meriting factors: - previous experience with psychological leadership responsibility, PLA - specialist competence in educational psychology - experience with quality management systems and self-control - experience with the Prorenata documentation system - experience with development work in student health or other health and medical care operations We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. About the Workplace The Resource Unit is part of the Central School Support Division within the Education Office. The unit works in a health-promoting, preventive, and remedial manner with a focus on ensuring that children and students in the municipality's preschools and schools receive the support they need and are entitled to. Within the Resource Unit is central student health, where school doctors, school nurses, and school psychologists work across the municipality's operations. The unit works closely with school leaders, student health teams, and other functions within the Education Office. The work is characterized by collaboration, operations-focused support, quality, and a shared focus on children and students' best interests.
