The position is placed within Business Support at Regional Development. Business Support has a strategic and coordinating role in regional development work. Here we work with analysis and follow-up, project development and financing, business development, and international collaborations. With us, you work together with colleagues with various specialist competencies. You will have many contact points, both within Region Kronoberg and with municipalities, authorities, and other actors in and outside the county. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS Do you want to help translate development needs and opportunities into concrete initiatives for Kronoberg? As a project developer with us, you get a strategic and advisory role where you support actors in developing ideas, finding financing, and creating projects that contribute to the county's long-term development. You work together with colleagues within Region Kronoberg and with external actors in the county to identify development needs and opportunities. The work includes supporting actors in areas such as business development, innovation, and skills supply. You provide support throughout the project development process, from idea and project logic to financing and follow-up of ongoing projects. You guide on different financing options at regional, national, and European levels and contribute knowledge about how projects can be designed and planned to achieve desired results. The position also includes handling applications for regional project financing. This means that you independently analyze and assess the relevance, feasibility, and expected benefits of projects based on applicable regulations, regional development needs, strategies, and priorities. You prepare matters and develop well-founded documentation for decision-making. The role thus involves both supporting actors in project development and, in the handling of applications, making factual and well-founded assessments of financing requests. An important part of the role is to develop documentation and contribute expertise for political decision-making. You also participate in developing routines, methods, and tools for project development and project support. The work also includes contributing to quality assurance, experience exchange, and shared learning. The role includes leading processes and planning and conducting meetings, workshops, and conferences. You also present information and knowledge to different target groups. You work closely with colleagues within Business Support and other parts of Regional Development as well as with corresponding functions in other regions and external collaboration partners. Travel occurs within and outside the county, sometimes also internationally. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has - Academic education in a relevant area or other education and work experience that we consider equivalent - Experience with project development or development work - Experience working in collaboration with multiple actors and organizations - Ability to independently drive processes and tasks from idea to implementation - Good digital competence and experience working in digital business and case management systems - Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written - Class B driver's license It is meritorious if you have - Experience in regional development, business development, innovation, or skills supply - Knowledge of EU programs, national programs, and public project financing - Experience from public sector work or other politically governed organization - Experience in process management or relevant education in the field - Experience in business promotion work To thrive in this role, you need to be independent and responsible, while enjoying developing ideas and solutions together with others.
