We are looking for a project manager for building construction for our established design office. We specialize in comprehensive processing of public procurement with investment volumes ranging from 50 to 500 million Kč. This type of project provides a clearer contractual framework, more stable pace, and fewer sudden changes than is typical in the private sector.
What will be your tasks:
represent the company in communication with the investor,
in collaboration with colleagues, develop the schedule for design work,
continuously evaluate the project schedule,
oversee the financial plan of assigned projects,
convey the needs of the design team to the investor and from the investor to the design,
oversee compliance with contractual conditions,
participate in the final selection of subcontractors,
report to the investor on the results of engineering activities and the status of the order.
What this role does not include:
this is not a classic HIP position,
you are not responsible for the technical solution of the project,
you are not responsible for partial deadlines of the design team,
the position does not require authorization,
you do not lead the design team from a professional content perspective.

can understand project relationships and maintain perspective,
knows how to say "no" - to the investor, colleagues, and to themselves - and can reasonably justify it,
can clearly translate technical matters into management language and vice versa,
keeps track of several concurrent projects without getting lost in detail,
is reliable, fulfills their commitments, and can ensure that others do the same,
knows when to decide independently and when to escalate matters.

a senior architect or designer with coordination skills,
