Combitech is seeking an engaged and technology-driven project engineer to strengthen our team within communication solutions, based in Arboga or Växjö. As a project engineer with us, you'll have the opportunity to work with an exciting mix of new and legacy technology and contribute to significant projects for the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, and civilian customers. If you're ready for new challenges and want to grow in a corporate culture that promotes both personal and professional development, this could be the right role for you.
Your Role as a Project Engineer in Communication Solutions
As a project engineer with us, you will work with a mix of both new and legacy technology within the communications field. You will participate in site reconnaissance of current projects, prepare material lists, reports, calculations, and create documentation for installation. Our assignments typically involve implementing new equipment or upgrading existing systems. Business travel will occur.
Your main task will be to manage and address customers' various needs and requirements. Throughout the project, you will serve as a sounding board and technical support for our traveling installation teams, and together you will ensure projects reach completion. In addition to close collaboration with the installation teams, you will also work with logistics coordinators, project managers, and administrators.
The culture in our unit is characterized by a desire to be business-minded and results-oriented with high quality toward our customers. Your main assignments are primarily linked to the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV, but we also undertake assignments for other government agencies and civilian customers.
Who Are You?
We're looking for someone with solid technical interest, organized work habits, and who enjoys taking personal responsibility for your tasks. You will mostly work according to established processes, but sometimes it requires you to think creatively and find your own solution to a problem.
Since we work closely together as a team, it is essential that you are a team player and want to contribute to a good work environment. You should have good collaboration skills, be service-oriented, and have drive in your approach. It is a merit if you have technical education, previous experience in installation work, climbing certification for masts and towers, and knowledge within electrical/telecommunications, radio links, IP installations, or general transmission knowledge.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Class B driver's license and strong communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good proficiency with office software and basic CAD skills are also requirements for the position.
Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must complete and be approved for a security clearance with criminal record check.
Selection will be ongoing. We look forward to your application!
