About the position: At VINAB, you'll have an operative and varied role where you lead projects in the field, work closely with customers, and become an important part of the company's continued growth within mining, steel, and process industry. As a project manager at VINAB, you'll be part of a tightly-knit project team where flexibility, collaboration, and personal responsibility are a natural part of everyday work. Projects are primarily conducted for customers such as LKAB, Boliden, and SSAB and include assembly projects, steel structures, and mechanical maintenance. The role is operative and hands-on – here you're not only expected to lead projects but also be present in the field, support the team, and build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues. Travel occurs regularly between the company's locations in Norrbotten, where one of the main areas is Malmfälten. Your responsibilities: Drive industrial projects from start to final delivery Plan resources, personnel, and materials Lead assembly and maintenance work in the field Maintain ongoing contact with customers in the mining, steel, and process industry Coordinate welders, assemblers, supervisors, and subcontractors Responsible for purchasing, orders, and documentation Follow up on project finances, schedules, and quality Ensure work is conducted according to applicable safety requirements and industry standards Work in business and project systems such as NEXT and the Office suite We're looking for you who: Have experience from the industry and thrive in an environment where the pace can sometimes be high and problem-solving is a natural part of everyday work. We'd like to see that you have technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering, industrial production, or project management – or equivalent work experience. Meritorious experience with: Project management in industry or construction Mining, steel, or process industry Extensive customer contact and personnel management Field work and clear deadlines To succeed in this role, we see that you are: Solution-oriented and driven Unpretentious and willing to collaborate Structured and thorough Social and communicative Confident in making decisions Safety-conscious with high responsibility Other: B driver's license is required. BAS-U is meritorious. Good English skills are meritorious, as are additional languages. Practical information: Work location: Flexible within Norrbotten. Working hours: Monday–Friday, varying working hours may occur depending on each project's setup. Travel: Occurs regularly in the position. Overnight stays: May occur when working at another location.
