As a project manager in Tvärförbindelse Södertörn, you will help make everyday life easier for residents and businesses throughout Sweden. Work Tasks Tvärförbindelse Södertörn is one of Trafikverket's largest infrastructure investments and an important puzzle piece in creating a more accessible Södertörn. We are building a completely new traffic solution for better safety, accessibility and traffic flow for both people and goods through a 2 mil grade-separated motorway with a separate pedestrian and bicycle path from Kungens Kurva, via Flemingsberg, to Jordbro. The road connects northern, western and southern Stockholm, and makes it possible for people, goods and services to take new, more convenient routes. As a project manager within the Tvärförbindelse Södertörn program, you are a key person in the program's organization. As a project manager with us, you will have the opportunity to lead a project team with project managers, construction management, technical specialists, administrators as well as contracted consultants and contractors. You are responsible for the overall management, control and follow-up of projects. You contribute with motivation and inspiration to your project team to create a good work environment. In this role, you have contact with the general public as well as with municipalities and other authorities. We are looking for a project manager who has overall responsibility for the E4/E20 - Duvberget project. The project's mission is to connect Tvärförbindelse Södertörn with a traffic interchange along E4/E20 which will also be widened with additional lanes. We are now finalizing our tender documents while driving preparatory construction work. We are building up the organization and preparing ourselves for the procurement and construction phase that we will very soon enter. My name is Mattias Beiron and I will be your manager. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have very strong leadership skills where you build trust, clarify direction and deliver results that help the organization achieve its goals and create value. You are comfortable in complex project environments and have the ability to independently drive issues within your area of responsibility. You have good collaboration skills and are experienced in creating and maintaining good relationships with both internal and external parties. The role requires structure, decision-making ability and good communication skills. You work in a solution-oriented manner and have the ability to handle multiple parallel tasks at a high pace. We are looking for you who have higher education of at least 180 hp (120p) with construction engineering focus or other relevant education in combination with experience that we consider equivalent multiple years of current experience as a project manager or equivalent leading position with independent overall responsibility in large and complex infrastructure or construction projects experience managing other project managers, sub-project managers or other leading positions good business and contract understanding as well as experience in negotiation and financial follow-up in large construction projects practical experience in managing and monitoring contractors where compensation has been wholly or partially made on a cost-plus basis good knowledge of construction law and practical experience applying contract forms AB and/or ABT driver's license for a car good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing It is meritorious if you have experience in procurement or tender work in larger construction projects good experience with coordination and negotiation with external stakeholders, such as municipalities, authorities or adjacent projects experience with projects with many dependencies between contractors, technical areas and adjacent projects Other Information If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact recruiting manager Mattias Beiron at telephone 010-124 44 86.
