About the Role
As a project manager at Nybyggarn, you will have broad responsibility for your construction projects and become the unifying link between the customer, skilled workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
You are responsible for driving projects forward with control over finances, schedule, quality, and delivery. This role suits you if you enjoy being close to operations and want to combine structure with problem-solving, relationships, and practical matters in the field.
You will, among other things:
Plan, lead, and follow up on construction projects from start to finish
Manage project finances, schedules, and progress
Coordinate skilled workers, subcontractors, and other disciplines
Maintain ongoing contact with customers, suppliers, and other external parties
Work with procurement and monitor deliveries within your projects
Ensure that the right information reaches the right people in the project
Who Are We Looking For?
You have likely worked as a project manager, site manager, foreman, or construction engineer. The exact title is less important than having the experience and confidence required to independently drive projects.
As a person, you are driven, organized, and responsible with a natural ability to move projects forward. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and thrive with many points of contact. At the same time, you have a business-minded approach and appreciate working in a close team where people help each other and take shared responsibility.
We would like to see that you have:
Several years of experience from the construction industry
Experience independently managing and following up on construction projects
Good understanding of different disciplines and stakeholders in construction
Good financial understanding
Ability to plan, structure, and document your work
Good Swedish in speech and writing
It is a merit if you also have experience with procurement, estimation, customer contact, and working with subcontractors. A construction technology education is positive, but your practical experience and understanding of the construction process carry more weight.
