We are now looking for a project manager in Luleå who wants to lead the development of Malmbanan - one of Sweden's most strategic and capacity-demanding railways. Job Responsibilities As a project manager within the Investment division, you will be an important part of Trafikverket's client organization and have a central role in developing the railway infrastructure of the future. You will lead and coordinate infrastructure projects within rail throughout the entire process - from planning and design to contracts, construction and follow-up. In this role, you work closely with project engineers, specialists, consultants and contractors. You are responsible for managing and monitoring projects based on goals, strategy, schedule, budget and administration. An important part of the assignment is also to coordinate and adapt work based on other ongoing projects and activities on the railway. This is a varied role for you who enjoy combining collaboration with significant personal responsibility. You will have the opportunity to drive complex projects, bring together different competencies around common goals and contribute to solutions that create long-term societal benefits. The projects you will drive are primarily linked to Malmbanan, but other projects may also become relevant. Travel may occur as part of the position. We are looking for you who: have a university or higher education degree of at least 180 hp (120p) with a technical focus or alternatively other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent have several years of current work experience as a project manager, site manager, project leader or other similar leadership role in the construction industry have experience with budget, forecasts and financial monitoring have current knowledge of contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA have good contract and negotiation experience as well as procurement experience have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish have a valid driver's license for a private car It is meritorious if you: have worked within railways and with associated technical regulations have experience with project management within road and/or rail have the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in English Additional Information Please attach your CV to your application.
