Would you like to be part of building the city's infrastructure? You will work on projects that are visible, used, and make a difference in people's daily lives. Together we carry out everything from extensive and complex street projects to smaller projects in the urban environment that all promote traffic safety and accessibility.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for leading and driving projects through the entire process, from planning and design to completion and handover to operations. The projects vary in size and complexity, and may include renovation and new construction of streets, roads, squares, and green spaces. As a project manager, you keep the assignments together and ensure they are completed with the right quality, within the decided timeline and budget.
An important part of your role as a project manager is to collaborate and coordinate, review documents, and be a competent counterpart in technical and economic matters. You work closely with consultants, contractors, site managers, and other internal and external partners. The work involves many points of contact and a day that largely consists of planning, management, and follow-up.
Your Qualifications
We are now looking for someone who is experienced and confident in the project manager role and has technical expertise in streets and roads. You enjoy taking responsibility, making decisions, and driving matters forward in complex situations. You are used to working independently on projects that require both structure, judgment, and the ability to solve problems along the way.
You have project management experience and have good technical expertise in streets and roads. This gives you good conditions to assess, review, and follow up on technical documents and be a trusted counterpart in dialogue with designers and contractors.
You have knowledge of relevant regulations such as AMA Anläggning, Administrative Regulations, and AB/ABT. Fundamentally, you have post-secondary education or equivalent competence through work experience. It is a merit if you have worked as a street designer, have experience in municipal operations, and/or have worked with financial follow-up and budget responsibility. Since the position involves site visits, you must have a B-class driver's license.

During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a certificate of citizenship together with ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES, or Switzerland, you must provide proof that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
