About the Position
As a project-leading design engineer for our client, you are responsible for the entire chain, from project initiation to final product delivery. The role combines technical design work with clear project management responsibility, where you drive your projects forward with focus on quality, time, and cost.
You have an important and independent role where you own and lead your own projects. This includes planning, monitoring, and ensuring that projects are delivered according to set goals, including budget responsibility and financial follow-up.
In the role, you are responsible for developing technical documentation that enables efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Customer requirements and specifications are transformed into clear drawings, specifications, and solutions adapted for manufacturing. You ensure that the solutions meet the right quality standards, function as intended, and are optimized for production.
You have an active and coordinating role in communication, both internally and externally. You maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and suppliers and work closely with internal functions such as production.
The role is characterized by strong self-leadership with good opportunities to influence and develop working methods, with a focus on creating more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions in daily work
About You
We are looking for someone who is a team player with experience in design and technical drawing production, and who feels comfortable working in CAD and other technical systems. You have a good understanding of material selection, dimensioning, and how solutions need to be adapted to function efficiently in production, while also having insight into production processes and planning work. You work in a structured and thorough manner, and thrive in a role where you take significant responsibility and make technical decisions within your area. If you also have experience in project management or have worked close to production, for example in a planning role or with improvement work, we consider that a merit.
As a person, you are communicative, analytical, and solution-oriented, with a clear quality focus, and you take responsibility both for your own work and for contributing to good teamwork. A valid driver's license is a requirement for this position.
