About the Position As a coordinator, you will work to support operations by planning, coordinating, preparing, and following up on various types of issues and matters. The role involves close collaboration with managers, colleagues, and other internal and external contacts. Your main responsibilities will involve supporting project managers in various phases of research applications. You do this by participating in and coordinating application work for the department's applications to, for example, European Defence Fund (EDF), Horizon Europe, as well as national research funders. This includes: - Support project managers in developing applications and in contacts with research funders, consortium coordinators, and other partners. - Support project managers with administration during project startup. - Support project managers as needed with administrative and finance-related work. - Actively participate in project meetings and give presentations. Maintain contact with various departments of the agency, such as legal, finance, communications, etc. In connection with EU audits, you will be the contact person with the auditor and support with compilation of requested information. - Participate in national and international information days organized by research funders and agencies. The role also includes having an overall understanding of and developing the department's identified needs for international cooperation. You will represent the department in the agency's working group on international cooperation led by the International Director. You will also be the department's contact person regarding NATO matters and support researchers with assessment of export control classification and handling of export control matters. Further, you will support the department's work with universities and colleges with the aim of developing cooperation in peace as well as in war. The responsibility includes both contact and activities with the schools' senior leadership and student organizations. The content of work tasks may otherwise vary depending on operational needs and the applicant's qualifications. About the Unit Your immediate manager is the Deputy Department Head, and you will be part of a group of three case handlers. You will be part of the Department of Cyber Defence and Command Technology, located in Linköping. The department consists of approximately 200 employees working with basic and applied research in support of Swedish total defense. Due to the nature of the operations, work is conducted mainly on-site in Linköping, but the role also involves travel nationally and internationally. Do You Have the Competence Profile We Need? Requirements We are looking for someone who has: - A higher education degree in engineering and/or natural sciences - Experience working with qualified support, case handling, or coordination of project activities - Strong ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work - Experience in seeking externally funded projects - Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English Beyond your formal qualifications, we place great importance on your personal qualities. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have documented experience working with/in one or more of the following areas: - International project applications and agreements within the EU or EDF - The technical areas that fall within the department's operations - Export control matters - Research organization - Government or other public sector operations - Security-classified environment What Do We Offer You?
