Process Project Engineer to Fiskeby Board!

Your Role
As a project engineer with a focus on process, you will be a central part of our project department, which consists of a competent and dedicated team of 3 people. You will lead your own projects that encompass the entire facility's process equipment, with particular focus on piping systems, pumps, and tanks. You are responsible for, among other things, pump sizing and ensuring that systems function optimally in both new installations and renovations while contributing as a project member in other initiatives. The project department's responsibility extends from request documents and design to construction, flowcharts, and budget calculations, with a focus on ensuring that new installations and renovations comply with applicable rules and standards.

Your work tasks encompass the entire project cycle, from idea to finished, documented project, and you get the opportunity to develop in a stimulating environment with great opportunity to make an impact. In this role, you report to the Project Manager.
About You
To succeed as a project engineer, we see that you are structured, solution-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You are skilled at communicating with different people and are both curious and driven in your work. You plan and structure your tasks efficiently and ensure that projects reach their goals. Your analytical and unpretentious working approach makes you an important part of the team.
We are looking for you with a university degree in mechanical engineering or similar, as well as experience in project management. If you have experience from the paper and pulp industry or other process industry as well as boiler facilities, that is a merit. We would like you to have knowledge in machinery and pipe construction as well as pump and pressure vessel sizing. In addition, you have good knowledge of CAD, MS Office, Swedish, and English. If you also have knowledge in the following programs, that is a merit: Idhammar, Insyde, and Autocad.

During 2023, we were acquired by RDM Group, and together with nine other mills, we are the largest manufacturer of recycled cardboard in Europe. We have manufactured paper and cardboard since 1637, and Fiskeby is the only mill in Scandinavia that can receive beverage packaging as raw material. Our products are made from 100% recovered fiber, entirely in line with today's requirements for a sustainable society. We manufacture 170,000 tons of cardboard annually and have approximately 275 employees.
