About the position
As a project engineer, you support the operations with financial monitoring, project management, and documentation. You participate in monitoring project results, prepare materials for forecasts, and help create structure in the work. The role also involves supporting quality, environment, and occupational health issues, as well as serving as a resource in certain contract matters.
As a project engineer, you work together with site managers, contract manager, accountant, and labor manager. The role is varied and gives you the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the operations while contributing to driving our projects forward in an efficient and business-like manner.
This is a position for someone who wants to develop in an operations-focused role where you have the opportunity to take significant responsibility and grow alongside experienced colleagues.
The role is based in Umeå, but we know that the right competence can be found in several locations. Therefore, we are open to placement at one of our facilities in Västerbotten. Travel within the region occurs.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with an interest in projects, economics, and construction development. You are comfortable working in a structured manner, are curious, and have an easy time collaborating with others. To succeed in the role, you need to be resourceful and attentive. You should be able to take on tasks independently while also appreciating working together with others to achieve common goals.
You are communicative and have a solution-oriented approach. You see opportunities rather than problems. Since you will have many contact points within the organization, it is important that you are unpretentious and contribute to good collaboration.
We would like to see that you have:
experience from a similar role or from project operations
good computer skills and an interest in financial monitoring
strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license
