We are now looking for a design project manager who wants to drive our projects forward – from initial stages to completed facilities. About the Role As a design project manager, you have a central role in our projects and are responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring the design work. You act as an important link between project management, designers, technical disciplines, suppliers, and production. You ensure that the design maintains the right quality, follows the project schedule and budget, and that documentation is complete and usable for implementation. The role involves both overall responsibility and close collaboration with different functions in the project. You will work on multiple projects and have the opportunity to influence how we develop our technical solutions and working methods together. Your Main Responsibilities Lead and coordinate design work through the different phases of the project. Plan, monitor, and drive the design toward set goals, schedules, and requirements. Coordinate internal and external designers and different technical disciplines. Ensure that drawings, technical descriptions, and other design documentation meet the required quality standards. Identify and manage technical issues, scope boundaries, and changes. Participate in technical meetings and design meetings and follow up on decisions and actions. Support the project manager with technical and design-related questions. Ensure a smooth transition from design to implementation and production. Contribute to lessons learned and development of our processes and technical solutions. Maintain contact with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other partners. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with a degree in civil engineering or equivalent education, experience with design and project work in areas such as water and wastewater, water treatment, process industry, construction, or civil engineering. You may have a background as a design project manager, designer, engineer, or similar, and want to take the next step in a role with greater responsibility and a comprehensive perspective. To succeed in the role, you need to be organized and solution-oriented and thrive with coordinating many different issues and stakeholders. You have your own drive, are accustomed to taking responsibility, and have the ability to see both the details and the bigger picture in a project. We would like to see that you have: Experience with design and technical coordination. Experience from water and wastewater, construction, civil engineering, or process industry. Ability to plan and structure your work and drive issues forward. Good communication skills and ease of collaboration with different professions. Understanding of the technical, economic, and time-related conditions of projects. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of English is a plus. It is a plus if you have experience with treatment plants, pipe installations, process facilities, or water and wastewater projects. What Do We Offer?
