We are offering 2 project positions as mentors in Nature-Supported Rehabilitation at 50%.
Duties
We are seeking two project employees with expertise in rehabilitation and support work for people who have been long-term outside the labor market. The project, Nature-Supported Rehabilitation at Fornby, is a Finsam-financed project aimed at supporting people outside the labor market to make step-by-step progress toward self-sufficiency.
The project positions start as soon as possible during fall term 2026 and extend through December 2028. The scope of the positions is 50%, though the working hours can be discussed both up and down.
The work will involve considerable time outdoors, light physical work such as gardening or handicrafts, walks, and other activities that project participants find stimulating. The premise is that time in nature and simple physical work together shall help participants establish routines and focus on things other than what prevents progress toward self-sufficiency and empowerment. The work will also include tailored support in areas that participants find difficult for a functioning daily life. Follow-up, documentation, and planning work at both group and individual levels are included. Possibility to limit work to specified days is available. The project is located at Fornby folkhögskola in Borlänge, and the project team will consist of four to five employees.
