invites applications for the position of
PROJECT MANAGER
for an indefinite period (Profession code: 2422 01)
WE WILL ENTRUST YOU WITH:
planning and organizing projects related to the orchestra's concert activities, as well as organizing and coordinating internal events;
managing orchestra concert, festival, concert tour, and sound recording projects;
preparing and developing project applications for submission to the State Culture Capital Foundation, as well as to other Latvian and foreign grant programs and institutions that support cooperation in the cultural sector;
monitoring project implementation and progress in accordance with established deadlines, budget, and quality requirements, ensuring successful project realization in collaboration with the marketing specialist and other employees, including:
planning, preparing, and submitting contracts for signature, monitoring the performance of concluded contracts,
planning project implementation phases, resources, and costs,
managing project documentation,
implementing the project plan, monitoring expenses in accordance with the project budget,
preparing interim and final project reports,
analyzing results, developing recommendations, making corrections to existing plans;
managing and coordinating projects involving multiple institutions, including international projects;
maintaining, updating, and improving the orchestra's website and social media in accordance with the guidelines of the marketing and public relations manager.
WE EXPECT:
higher education in the humanities (project management or cultural sectors);
education in music;
understanding of the orchestra's work specifics;
Excellent knowledge of Latvian language (including written text) and good knowledge of English language;
Ability to independently plan and organize, analyze and make decisions;
good communication and collaboration skills;
Good digital skills – experience working in Windows environment, including work with MS Office, WordPress and other necessary daily-use programs, and knowledge of computer equipment operation regulations.
