Construction Project Manager position in the Project Management Division

We will entrust you with:
ensuring coordination or management of real estate construction projects required by the Ministry of Interior and its subordinated institutions during pre-feasibility, design and construction phases. Monitoring and supervising the implementation of building and construction work, including renovation, restoration, demolition, and the performance of concluded contracts;
participating in the development of infrastructure development plans for real estate objects of the Ministry of Interior and planning their implementation within your scope of competence;
analyzing opportunities for implementing and developing new projects;
budget development, planning and financial performance control;
participating in the work of Public Procurement Commissions, preparing technical specifications and other documentation necessary for conducting procurements in accordance with job duties;
preparing internal and external regulatory acts, informational reports and policy planning documents, initiatives and response letters within the competence assigned to the position;
organizing and conducting technical inspections of new construction, renovated and reconstructed real estate objects of the Ministry of Interior, ensuring or preparing materials on inspection results.
Our requirements:
second level or equivalent higher education in engineering sciences, construction or real estate management, or project management;
additional education in the field of construction confirmed by certificates is desirable;
experience in managing or supervising construction projects, coordination, implementation of infrastructure projects using European Union or other foreign financial instruments (indicate the projects in which you participated);
knowledge of applicable regulatory acts regulating construction and public procurement; ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, express and defend opinions on matters within your competence. Good communication skills;
Latvian language proficiency (education obtained in Latvian or level B2 grade 2), good computer skills (MS Office); Skills to work with AutoCAD, BIM or other design software will be considered an advantage;
