Smiltenes novada pašvaldība (reg. No. 90009067337) is hiring a project manager.
We are looking for a goal-oriented, responsible, and knowledgeable specialist for the project manager position to join our team. This is an opportunity to participate in the preparation and implementation of projects important for the development of the municipality, attracting funding and turning ideas into practical results. Prepare project applications, coordinate and/or manage projects or programs identified in Smiltenes novada pašvaldība's development plan, as well as prepare and implement other current projects;
Monitor and inform about available financial sources, funds, support programs, and principles for obtaining funding, analyze new opportunities for project implementation and development;
Monitor task completion, collect information, and participate in report preparation, comply with project implementation deadlines and budget expenditure according to the estimate, ensure timely preparation and submission of necessary project reports;
Analyze opportunities for new project implementation;
Participate in the municipality's planning and other document development.
We will value in you:
Higher education in project management, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, or a related field;
Desired experience in project preparation and implementation;
Excellent computer skills;
State language proficiency at the highest level, good English language knowledge;
Precision, high sense of responsibility, communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking;
Ability to express and defend opinions, make independent decisions, work in a team.
