Valmiera Municipality is hiring an environmental communications project manager for the Branding and Public Relations Department for a fixed-term position.

If you wish to:
• develop and maintain communication with residents, collaboration partners, and media in accordance with the environmental communications strategy;
• develop communication, marketing, and public education plans and projects and implement them;
• create creative, diverse, and high-quality communication content and communicate it through the municipality's channels and media;
• ensure the development of presentation and multimedia products;
• provide support to colleagues on public communications matters;
• respond to questions from residents and media through the municipality's communication channels;
• gather data for evaluating and planning communication results;
and if you have:
• higher education in communications (communications, public relations, journalism) or environmental sciences;
• state language proficiency according to the requirements of the State Language Law;
• work experience in communications or environmental field, with communication and project activities;
• understanding of the media environment;
• competencies: excellent communication skills; outstanding organizational skills; innovative and creative approach; ability to make independent decisions; responsibility; accuracy; initiative; good collaboration skills; ability to work with large volumes of information;
• Category B driver's license;
