POSITION OVERVIEW • Management and coordination of assigned projects across the entire company - from technical preparation through production to shipment to the customer. • Preparation of quotes and cost estimates based on customer inquiries. • Planning of processes and timelines to ensure maximum efficiency and timely delivery of orders. • Customer communication (often in a foreign language), technical consulting. • Resolution of operational changes during project execution. • Oversight of project finances, cost and budget tracking, and profitability evaluation of orders. • Close collaboration with production, engineering, and procurement to resolve technical details and ensure necessary materials are available. • Quality and timeline control in individual production phases, resolution of any discrepancies and complaints. • Management of project documentation and data records in ERP K2. • Active identification of cost savings and proposals for improvements to production processes. REQUIREMENTS • Technical education (secondary/vocational/university) - mechanical engineering background preferred. • Experience in a similar position at a manufacturing company - project management or technical production preparation experience. • Ability to read technical documentation and navigate technical drawings and assemblies. • Knowledge of English or German at a conversational level (both is a major advantage). • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel for analysis and calculations / MS Project) • Experience working in an ERP system (knowledge of K2 IS is an advantage). • Familiarity with CAD programs (SolidWorks) is an advantage. • Excellent organizational and communication skills - you will be the liaison between the customer and our production. • Analytical thinking and results-oriented approach - monitoring costs and deadlines. • Class B driver's license and willingness to occasionally visit customers.
