Your future employer In state-of-the-art facilities at Varberg Nord, Varbergsköket primarily produces mayonnaise and mayonnaise-based sauces, salads and dressings for customers in retail, foodservice and industry. As a product developer at Varbergsköket, you will be an important part in driving the development of new and existing products forward. From idea and test kitchen to full-scale production. You work closely with production, quality, procurement and sales, where you serve as technical support to the factory and in customer contact regarding product development matters. You ensure that our products maintain the highest level in taste, function and quality. In the role you will, among other things: - Develop new and existing recipes and concepts in close collaboration with production and other teams - Industrialize recipes and processes to ensure a smooth and cost-effective transition from test kitchen to full-scale production - Provide technical support to production in recipe and process-related matters, deviations and improvement work - Lead and participate in tastings, tests and evaluations - Contribute to structure and order in processes, documentation and administration - Ensure ingredient lists and nutritional calculations - Be the company's expert in areas such as manufacturing process, food chemistry and the composition and function of our ingredients and products As a product developer, you thus get a broad and varied role where you combine technical understanding and production knowledge with creativity and food enthusiasm. You will be a key person in transforming ideas into reality and ensuring that our products work just as well in full-scale production as in the test kitchen. You will work full-time during standard office hours, Monday – Friday, based at the factory in Varberg Who are you? We are looking for you who combine a genuine interest in food and taste with good production technical understanding and an analytical approach. You have the ability to identify and analyze details in processes while driving projects forward with a focus on structure, quality and results. To succeed in the role, you have relevant education or experience in food technology, process technology or food chemistry. You have a good understanding of production technology and manufacturing processes within the food industry and speak and write Swedish fluently. You also have good knowledge of English and possess a driver's license with access to a car. It is an advantage if you have experience in industrializing recipes or scaling up processes from pilot to full-scale production. Experience from the food industry is also a plus, but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is committed, curious and responsible.
