We are now looking for a production technician who wants to help develop efficient workflows, improve working methods, and create conditions for modern and competitive production. Job Description As a production technician, you will have a broad and varied role where you work closely with the operation and become an important part of creating smart, secure, and efficient workflows – with a focus on quality, work environment, and solutions that work in everyday practice. A large part of the initial focus will be on pre- and post-calculations, time studies, and improvement work. You will examine how work is currently being done, follow up on time and workflows, and identify opportunities to simplify, clarify, and develop working methods together with colleagues on-site. Examples of Work Tasks: • Conduct time studies and work with pre- and post-calculations related to production and repair • Develop and streamline production, logistics, and repair workflows • Drive and participate in improvement work according to, for example, Lean and 5S • Contribute to smart working methods with a focus on quality, ergonomics, and work environment • Participate in prototypes, pilot series, and implementation of new or modified products • Handle product changes and update documentation, articles, structures, and preparations • Follow up on and analyze statistics related to production and repair • Create instructions, working methods, and support that help colleagues in production and repair workflows • Participate in investments and implementation of new tools, equipment, and workflows • Work closely with production, quality, logistics, repair/service, and customer projects Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in production engineering, industrial development, or similar work within manufacturing industry. You enjoy working close to operations, like to understand how things work in practice, and have a natural drive to improve, simplify, and create clarity. You don't need to have experience from the electronics industry, but you need to have a good understanding of production workflows and feel comfortable switching between analysis, documentation, system work, and practical improvement work in the operation. We believe you have: • Experience in production engineering work within manufacturing industry • Knowledge of pre-calculations, post-calculations, and time studies • Experience with improvement work, Lean, or 5S • Ability to analyze workflows, working methods, and statistics – and translate it into practical improvements • Understanding of how work environment, ergonomics, and quality connect with efficient processes • Post-secondary education in engineering or equivalent experience • Strong English skills in speech and writing To thrive in this role, we see that you are proactive, curious, and action-oriented.
