We are looking for a committed and solution-oriented Production Technician who wants to help develop our production. You will become an important part of our operation and work closely with production, maintenance, quality and development.
Dala-Profil manufactures and supplies roof and wall profiles for the construction industry throughout Sweden. With our own production in Borlänge, a large warehouse and some of the industry's fastest lead times, we help sheet metal workers and construction companies get the right products – quickly, safely and with high quality.
Since our start in 1980, our focus has remained the same: to be a reliable partner with excellent service, flexible solutions and products that stand the test of time.
Our production facility and warehouse cover approximately 13,000 square meters.
Today our operation consists of around 35 employees with extensive experience and a strong focus on quality, service and long-term customer relationships.
About the Role
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for leading projects across the entire organization and developing and improving our production processes. This position will be a key resource for driving operational excellence, increasing efficiency and creating conditions for future growth while maintaining high quality, good delivery reliability and short lead times.
Your Main Responsibilities
Develop and improve production processes and work methods
Identify and implement efficiencies in production
Prepare and update work instructions and production documentation
Analyze production data and suggest improvement measures
Contribute to safe, high-quality and cost-effective production
Project management, clarify roles, work methods and ensure efficient project structure
Coordinate activities related to ISO certifications
What We're Looking For
We believe you have a technical education at upper secondary or higher education level, or equivalent experience from industry.
You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with different professional roles within the company. Furthermore, you are technically interested, curious and driven by a desire to improve processes.
To succeed well in this role, you are organized, analytical and accustomed to working methodically.
You build relationships through collaboration and communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Experience with LEAN, blueprint reading, CAD, production economics or previous experience in production technical work is a plus.
