PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN AT BE-GE SEATING
Do you want to be part of developing future production in a company where technology, quality, and continuous improvements are at the center? As a Production Technician, you will have a key role with the opportunity to influence processes, work methods, and production development.
You will become an important part of the production organization where you work closely with the Production Manager and serve as the link between production, product development, quality, procurement, and finance. Together you will drive the development toward efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective production solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Production Technician, you are responsible for developing, improving, and ensuring quality in our production processes. The role is broad and varied with focus on both daily operations and long-term development.
Your overall responsibilities include:
• Developing and optimizing production and assembly processes, work methods, and production flows.
• Participating in industrialization of new products and modifications of existing products.
• Working with risk analyses, process mapping, FMEA, control plans, and PPAP.
• Creating and updating work instructions, production documentation, and production economic models.
• Planning and designing workplaces, production setups, fixtures, and tools.
• Identifying and implementing improvement activities for increased productivity, quality, and safety.
• Participating in investments in machinery, tools, and production equipment.
• Participating in root cause analyses and problem-solving for quality and production deviations.
• Providing technical support to production in daily operations.
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who is driven to improve and develop operations. You thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, problem-solving, and practical implementation.
We believe you have:
• Post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent.
• Experience from manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of production processes and industrialization.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience with improvement work, preferably within LEAN.
• Experience working with business systems and Office environments.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meriting qualifications include experience with:
• Production planning.
• Core tools such as APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• The business system Monitor.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You are communicative, collaborative, and comfortable taking responsibility, driving improvements, and turning ideas into concrete results.
