PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN AT BE-GE SEATING
Do you want to be part of developing future production in a company where technology, quality, and continuous improvements are at the center? As a Production Technician, you'll have a key role with the opportunity to influence processes, working methods, and production development.
You'll become an important part of the production organization where you work closely with the Production Manager and function as the link between production, product development, quality, procurement, and finance. Together you'll drive development toward efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective production solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Production Technician, you're responsible for developing, improving, and ensuring quality in our production processes. The role is broad and varied with focus on both daily operations and long-term development.
Your overall responsibilities include:
• Develop and optimize production and assembly processes, working methods, and production flows.
• Participate in industrialization of new products and modifications of existing products.
• Work with risk analyses, process mapping, FMEA, control plans, and PPAP.
• Create and update work instructions, production materials, and production economic models.
• Plan and design workplaces, production setups, fixtures, and tools.
• Identify and implement improvement activities for increased productivity, quality, and safety.
• Participate in machinery, tool, and production equipment investments.
• Participate in root cause analyses and problem-solving for quality and production deviations.
• Provide technical support to production in daily work.
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who is driven by improving and developing operations. You thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, problem-solving, and practical implementation.
We believe you have:
• Post-secondary education in production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent.
• Experience from manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of production processes and industrialization.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience with improvement work, preferably within LEAN.
• Experience working in business systems and Office environments.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Additional merits include experience with:
• Production planning.
• Core tools such as APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• The Monitor business system.
