We are now seeking a Production Technical Specialist who wants to be involved in developing, optimizing, and enhancing modern machining processes within the manufacturing industry. About the Role
As a Production Technical Specialist in Cutting Operations, you will be the company's expert in this area and drive the development of tools, machining methods, and production processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Develop and optimize cutting operation processes.
Test, evaluate, and implement new tools and machining technologies.
Analyze production results and identify improvement potential.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving in production.
Lead and participate in improvement and investment projects.
Collaborate with suppliers and conduct technical procurement and purchasing.
Contribute to the development of digitalized production and Industry 4.0.
Support and share specialist knowledge with colleagues and other functions in the organization.
The role offers great opportunities to influence the company's technical development and long-term production strategy. We offer a long-term consulting assignment with immediate start, where you will become an important part of the client's production technical operations in Skövde. The assignment runs through August 17, 2027.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who is motivated by turning theory into practical solutions. You are analytical, structured, and thrive in an environment where continuous improvement is the focus.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
A degree in engineering or civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience in cutting operations from both a practical and theoretical perspective.
Good knowledge of metallic materials and machining processes.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage your work independently.
Experience driving or participating in projects.
Good collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
A business-oriented approach and understanding of the company's objectives.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with NC programming and/or CAM preparation.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, automation, or digitalized production.
Experience in production technical development work within the manufacturing industry.
