About the role As a production technician, you'll become an important part of developing and optimizing production. You'll work broadly with production flows, improvement projects, layout changes, and automation, from identifying a need to developing and implementing a solution. The role involves many internal contacts. You collaborate with production teams, production engineers, design, materials, systems, maintenance, and project management. At the same time, you have great freedom to plan your day and independently drive your assignments forward. You'll join a workplace with around 200 employees under one roof and become part of a production technical team with diverse expertise. Your main responsibilities In the role, you'll do the following among other things: Develop and optimize production, process, and material flows Work with production optimization and improvement projects Conduct time studies and analyze production flows Plan and execute layout changes and risk analyses Adapt production solutions based on, for example, new products and changed volumes Work with automation and development of production equipment Prepare materials related to production, such as quotation and cost estimates Implement changes and new work methods together with operations Who are you? We're looking for someone with a technical education at the level of higher technical education or vocational training. You may also have a technical secondary education complemented with relevant practical experience. We believe you'll thrive and succeed in the role if you have: A couple of years of relevant experience, preferably from production or industry Experience working with improvements or development of production processes Ability to understand and create 3D layouts, for example in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It's a merit if you have experience from the medical device industry or other quality-controlled manufacturing. Experience with Lean or other structured improvement methods is also a plus. As a person, you're curious, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy many different contacts and like collaborating with others, while being comfortable planning and driving your work independently. You're communicative and service-minded, organized, and understand that improvement work sometimes requires both systematicity and patience.
