Thermo King in Gothenburg is now seeking a structured and driven production manager who wants to create efficient workflows, lead a cohesive team, and contribute to the continued development of the business.
As a production manager at Thermo King, you'll have a broad role where you're responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on assembly operations. You work on overall planning together with operations in Helsingborg, Malmö, and Stockholm, while simultaneously managing more detailed production planning in Gothenburg. By having a good overview of capacity utilization and resources, you ensure that resources are used optimally and can coordinate work with external partners as needed.
The role also includes personnel responsibility for the assembly team in Gothenburg, where you lead and support the team in daily operations. You'll be an important point of contact for customers and collaborate continuously with finance and procurement, while being responsible for reporting and monitoring related to assembly operations. Part of the role will also involve identifying improvement opportunities and driving development and efficiency initiatives forward.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with experience in planning, coordination, work leadership, or similar roles, and who has previously held personnel responsibility. The industry you come from is less important. What matters is that you understand how an operational business works and are accustomed to creating structure, prioritizing, and planning when many things happen simultaneously.
As a person, you are confident, communicative, and unpretentious. You enjoy taking responsibility and making decisions while having an inclusive leadership approach and valuing close collaboration with your colleagues. Since you'll have multiple contact points, you also need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally. You speak and write Swedish fluently and can also communicate in English.
