Production Manager at an Established Manufacturing Company in Bredaryd

Then this might be your next step. We are now seeking a Production Manager responsible for our injection molding operations. You will be an important part of daily operations and have the opportunity to work closely with both employees, management, and other functions in the business.
About the Role
As Production Manager, you are responsible for planning, prioritizing, and leading work within injection molding. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 20 employees working in five shifts, including shift leaders and setup technicians.
The role is operational and business-focused. You spend a lot of time on the production floor and support the organization through your experience and expertise in injection molding. You do not directly lead daily shift work, as each shift has a shift leader, but you are responsible for overall planning and ensuring that operations run efficiently.
You report to the Production Manager and work closely with management by providing follow-up, information, and improvement suggestions.
Your Tasks
Plan, prioritize, and lead production within injection molding
Lead and distribute work together with shift leaders
Participate in and hold daily production meetings
Personnel responsibility including employee and salary discussions
Responsible for staffing and resource planning
Contact with staffing agencies and management of temporary staff
Follow up on results, quality, and productivity
Support employees and contribute to continuous improvements
Report and assist management with relevant production information
We believe you have a background from the injection molding industry, for example as a process technician, setup technician, or in a similar role where you have built a good understanding of the processes.
You don't need to come from a previous management role, but you have natural leadership qualities and enjoy creating structure, engagement, and clarity.
