At Garantell, production is constantly evolving, with a focus on efficient workflows, clear working methods, and the right conditions for the future. Now we're looking for you to take a central role in our continued development and combine strong, hands-on leadership with the opportunity to influence both working methods and results.
As PRODUCTION MANAGER, you will step into a new role with responsibility for the daily operational management of production in Omegahallen, a new part of Garantell's production facility. You will have personnel responsibility for a team of approximately 20–25 people and will be present in the operation, where you lead and allocate daily work and ensure correct staffing and competence, with a focus on quality, delivery precision, safety, and cost-efficiency. An important part of your role is your leadership. You create clarity and structure in daily operations, develop your team members, and create conditions for the team to collectively take responsibility for production and its results.
You will also have the opportunity to influence and shape working methods going forward. Workflows, routines, and processes need to be established, developed, and monitored to create a stable and efficient working method over time. You will work closely with other parts of the organization and collaborate cross-functionally with areas such as engineering, maintenance, IT, and other production management. Here you need to be able to drive issues forward, create alignment, and be confident in setting requirements even outside your own area of responsibility to ensure the whole operation functions well. The degree of automation in the operation will also gradually increase, which means you will have the opportunity to lead production through development and change.
Your main responsibilities:
Lead, allocate, and follow up on daily work in production
Develop your team with a focus on clarity, competence, and engagement
Plan staffing and resources based on production needs
Ensure quality, delivery precision, safety, and cost-efficiency and contribute to a good working environment
Establish, develop, and monitor workflows, routines, and processes
Monitor KPIs, results, and deviations and drive improvement initiatives
Work cross-functionally with areas such as engineering, maintenance, IT, and other production management
Contribute to budget, forecasting, and resource planning

YOUR PROFILE
This role is ideal for you if you want to take clear responsibility for production and enjoy leading close to both the operation and the people. We are looking for someone with experience in production management or supervisory and planning roles within manufacturing industry and who is accustomed to being closely involved in daily operations. You are confident in your leadership, experienced at planning and prioritizing, and have the ability to create clarity and bring people along. You have experience working with improvements, workflows, and processes and enjoy collaborating across functional boundaries to make the whole operation work. As a person, you are structured and solution-oriented, with clear drive and the ability to make decisions, set requirements, and follow through on issues in practice. We would like to see that you have a technical qualification at upper secondary level or equivalent experience. Experience from the metal industry, automated production, budgeting and cost-efficiency, or internal logistics is a plus. You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing and have good IT skills.
