We are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to join us on our growth journey. About the Role
As Production Manager with us, you have overall responsibility for production – from sourcing raw materials to ensuring quality, managing personnel, and delivering finished products. The role is a combination of hands-on work and administrative leadership, where you are both actively involved in manufacturing and responsible for planning, documentation, and development. Your main responsibilities include:
Production Management: Scheduling production and staff, monitoring ongoing work, responsibility for machinery, equipment and production facilities, and manufacturing products.
Personnel Responsibility: Leading and training new staff, managing temporary staff as needed, and creating a safe and ergonomic work environment with focus on clothing and safety.
Procurement: Ensuring availability of raw materials, negotiating prices, approving major purchases, and updating raw material prices in recipe and calculation systems.
Quality Assurance: Ongoing work with certifications (IP & EKO), contact with certification bodies, Huddinge Municipality and consultants, and responsibility for product labeling and documentation of quality work.
Product Development: Creating and improving products, developing recipes, testing new materials and packaging, and creating product specifications.
Development: Research and ideas for new machinery and production lines to improve efficiency and growth.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with experience working in and managing production within the food industry. You thrive at combining hands-on production work with administrative responsibility and have a natural ability to lead and inspire others. To succeed in this role, we see that you:
Have knowledge of production processes and food safety.
Are structured, solution-oriented, and experienced in handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Have experience with procurement, negotiation, and quality work (it's a merit if you have worked with certifications such as IP or EKO).
Are a team player who wants to contribute to a positive and respectful workplace.
