About the Role
As a production worker with us, you'll play an important part in the daily operations at our facility in Kristianstad. You'll primarily work receiving, classifying, inspecting, and sorting ferrous and metal scrap using a material handler (excavator with grapple). The role involves varied work where you combine machinery operation with quality inspections, material reception, and contact with drivers and customers.
You'll join an experienced and dedicated team of about 15 people working together to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning facility. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00. This is a temporary contract starting December 1, 2026, and running through December 31, 2027.
Example Job Responsibilities:
Operate material handlers and manage incoming and outgoing materials
Sort and assess ferrous and metal scrap quality
Perform reception inspections of incoming materials
Assist drivers and ensure smooth operations at the facility
Conduct quality inspections according to established procedures
Contribute to daily work ensuring order, safety, and improvement on site
Who Are You?

Since the role involves contact with drivers and customers, we also believe you're service-oriented and have a professional demeanor.
To succeed in this role, you need:
Category B driver's license
Excavator license
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Basic computer skills
It's an advantage if you have:
Experience operating material handlers or similar machinery
Experience from recycling, scrap, or industrial operations
Forklift certification
Wheel loader certification
