Then this could be an interesting opportunity for you. We are now looking for a production and material planner for an established industrial operation in Norrköping. Here you will have a role with a clear focus on analysis and planning, where you use data and systems to create the right conditions for production. About the role As a production and material planner, you work to ensure that production, material, and capacity are aligned with the business's needs. You follow the flow, analyze what is needed going forward, and identify early on what risks affecting production. A large part of the work involves processing and analyzing information. You work continuously in Excel and the company's business and planning systems to monitor, among other things, needs, material availability, capacity, and production data. Based on this information, you create the foundation for prioritizations and decisions. When something changes, you need to be able to understand how it affects the whole picture. This could involve, for example, changed production needs, materials that are not available as planned, or capacity that needs to be reallocated. You analyze the situation, identify possible solutions, and collaborate with relevant functions to find a way forward. The role also includes a development perspective where you get the opportunity to identify improvements in processes, working methods, and the use of data and systems. Your main responsibilities Plan and monitor production and material needs Analyze capacity, material availability, and production data Work with compilations, monitoring, and analysis in Excel Develop the foundation for planning, prioritizations, and decisions Identify deviations and analyze how they affect production Ensure quality in information and master data in relevant systems Work continuously in business and planning systems Collaborate with production and other internal functions regarding needs and changes Contribute to improvements in processes, working methods, and planning documentation What we are looking for We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education who has had the opportunity to apply your knowledge in working life. You don't need extensive experience or to have worked with exactly the same tasks before, but we believe you have experience from a role where analysis, planning, logistics, or material flows were part of your work. The most important thing is that you have a strong analytical foundation, are comfortable with numbers, and enjoy using data to understand what is happening in the business. For the role, we would like to see that you have: Post-secondary education in, for example, logistics, supply chain, industrial economics, production, or similar Relevant experience from a staff position in, for example, supply chain, logistics, material planning, procurement, or production Strong analytical skills and experience working with large amounts of information Good knowledge of Excel and experience using it for analysis, monitoring, and compilations Experience working in business, ERP, or planning systems Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Experience from manufacturing or production-related operations is a merit. You find it easy to see connections between different parts of a flow and can turn information into concrete prioritizations. At the same time, you are structured and accustomed to taking responsibility for your own work.
