SydGrönt Ekonomisk förening is a producer organization for approximately 135 Swedish growers. We are Sweden's largest supplier of Swedish-produced fruits and vegetables. The group also includes Mäster Grön AB, which supplies ornamental plants. Together with our subsidiary SydLog AB, we develop, sell, and distribute a modern range of fruits, vegetables, and flowers to all Swedish grocery retail chains. This also includes a climate-controlled long-term storage facility for vegetables. With SydLog AB's specially adapted warehouse and logistics solutions and over 50 own trucks running daily with employed drivers, we ensure that products are transported from our growers to customers, always with the environment in focus. SydGrönt Ekonomisk Förening supports the entire group within Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Product, Quality, Finance, Payroll, HR, and IT. Requirements for Success in the Role Are you a business-oriented product manager who thrives in a dynamic and relationship-focused operation? Then this could be the role for you. To our trading department, which currently consists of 17 product managers, we are now seeking a new colleague. The role involves close collaboration with our fruit and vegetable producers and significant responsibility for translating growing conditions into successful business outcomes. You serve as the link between cultivation, purchasing, and customers, working to optimize volumes, quality, and profitability throughout the chain. Your responsibilities include: Responsibility for sales and business development within your product area Planning and managing purchases in close dialogue with our growers and suppliers Ensuring balance between supply, demand, and profitability Working with pricing and market adaptation Managing order flows through daily contact with local and international customers Analyzing market, sales, and product development Monitoring cost and price development Handling invoices and complaints We are looking for someone with good knowledge of the food industry, preferably with experience from the fruit and vegetable sector. You have at least 2-3 years of documented sales experience and a good understanding of the entire value chain, from growing and purchasing to customer and market. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you are business-minded, responsible, and have the ability to build long-term relationships. You work in a structured manner, make well-founded decisions, and feel comfortable in an operation where conditions can change from day to day. You are communicative, collaboration-oriented, and driven by creating results together with colleagues, producers, and customers.
