Department Mission In the Government-wide IT department, we work closely with the agency's business areas and other departments to contribute to Arbetsförmedlingen's development and future governance. The af.se section is responsible for the arbetsformedlingen.se product, which is a central point of contact for job seekers, employers, and other stakeholders and encompasses both unauthenticated and authenticated user flows. About the Position As product manager, you hold the strategic overall responsibility for arbetsformedlingen.se and for how the product contributes to a cohesive user experience across the agency's digital services. You lead the work on the product's vision, strategy, goals, and overarching priorities. An important part of the assignment is to identify and manage issues and dependencies that affect user experience across product boundaries, in collaboration with other product managers. Your responsibilities include Own, develop, and anchor the product vision, product strategy, and goals for arbetsformedlingen.se. Respond for the long-term roadmap and balance maintenance, improvement, and innovation. Translate user needs and business goals into clear priorities and initiatives. Create alignment between business areas, communications, design, IT, and other product managers around the product's direction and user experience. Manage conflicting goals and make trade-offs between user value, business benefit, technical lifecycle management, risk, and feasibility. Monitor results and impact and use data and insights as a basis for decisions and improvements. Conduct strategic environmental monitoring and assess how changes in technology, regulations, and user behavior affect the product. Who Are You? You are a strategic and collaboration-oriented product manager who can provide direction in an environment with many dependencies and stakeholders. You see connections between users' needs, business goals, and technical possibilities, and you can make complex issues understandable to different parts of the organization. Basic Requirements for the Position We are looking for someone who has: Several years of experience as a product manager or equivalent strategic product responsibility for complex digital products or services, with overall responsibility for the product's vision, strategy, direction, priorities, and long-term development. Experience formulating, anchoring, and implementing product vision, product strategy, and long-term roadmap, with clear connection to business goals, user needs, and desired outcomes. Experience translating user needs and business goals into strategic priorities and concrete initiatives, as well as making well-founded trade-offs between different needs, interests, and conditions. Experience leading, influencing, and creating alignment in complex stakeholder environments, where multiple business areas, products, or product domains need to collaborate and where needs may be conflicting. Experience defining goals and metrics, monitoring results and impact, and using user insights, data, and environmental analysis as a basis for product development and strategic decisions. Strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Meritorious Qualifications for the Position Experience driving digital transformation, change management, organizational change, or major business development initiatives. Experience from the public sector or other regulated, mission-critical, or complex operations, including development of digital services with high requirements for accessibility, security, privacy, and trust. Experience with hypothesis-driven working methods, experimentation, and continuous learning, where results and insights are used to change or confirm the product's direction. Experience exploring and evaluating new technical possibilities, such as AI and automation, in digital products or services, as well as web analytics and tools for digital product analysis. University or college degree in a relevant field, such as systems science or IT, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience or other means.
