Process Technician for Growing Production!
Do you want a key role where you can combine engineering, problem-solving, and continuous improvement work? Are you unpretentious, practical, and enjoy working close to production? Then you might be the process technician we're looking for.
We're now seeking a process technician for immediate start as one of our team members has chosen to move on. The role is broad and varied with significant independent responsibility and many contact points both internally and externally.
About the Role
As a process technician, you are responsible for ensuring efficient and stable production. You work with trial runs and implementation of new articles and products, and contribute technical expertise in projects and new assignments.
You are the natural expert when more complex technical challenges arise and support production when needed. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in production, the tool department, and our Gothenburg office.
In this role, you will, among other things:
Conduct trial runs of new products and articles
Participate in projects and contribute process technical expertise on new jobs
Work with automation and optimization of production processes
Manage new tools – testing, trial runs, and documentation in our injection molding machines
Monitor machine performance and analyze production data
Identify and resolve production disruptions
Optimize and improve cycle times
Support production with technical challenges
Work closely with the Production Manager, tool technician, and colleagues in Gothenburg
The role offers great freedom within responsibility. When needed, you can work hands-on in production and sometimes stand at a machine for several days to ensure processes run optimally.
Who Are You?
We're looking for someone with experience in process engineering or similar work in manufacturing industry. You are technically interested, solution-oriented, and comfortable working both strategically and operatively.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
Have experience in production and process engineering
Are unpretentious and help out where needed
Have a strong interest in improvement work and optimization
Are analytical and enjoy solving problems
Thrive with many contact points and collaborations
Are self-driven and comfortable with significant independent responsibility
