Do you want to develop processes close to production? We are looking for a driven process technician with chemistry knowledge and experience with chemicals for smarter, safer, and more sustainable work practices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you are responsible for developing and monitoring processes within anodizing. You work together with production, maintenance, and other parts of the organization. You become an important part of our work with quality, safety, and continuous improvements and will be part of our process engineering department. As a Process Technician, you have a central and important role in ensuring a stable, safe, and quality anodizing process. You work close to production while being a driving force in long-term development and improvement work. In the role, you participate in and drive development work within the anodizing process, focusing on both input materials and process baths. You monitor existing procedures, ensure they are correct and complied with, and identify, manage, and report deviations. An important part of the work is to carry out measurements and analyses in the production environment as well as to monitor and control process baths, rinsing systems, and treatment facilities, and when necessary, perform required adjustments. You are also responsible for mixing and monitoring tool lye as well as managing the recycling of lye returned. The role also includes ongoing dialogue with the municipality's treatment facility regarding sludge dewatering and treatment of reject water. You will be close to production and have continuous dialogue with shift teams regarding the quality of anodizing products. Through visual inspections, spot checks, anode tests, and controls of layer and gloss gauges, you contribute to ensuring high and consistent product quality. You also identify faults and potential operational disruptions and ensure these are reported to maintenance. The role involves active participation in projects, process improvements, and 5S initiatives. You contribute to developing and implementing process-focused training within the department and help initiate and prioritize efforts that strengthen the department's strategic development. Together with colleagues and other parts of the organization, you work systematically with continuous improvements and developing our work practices and processes. You also have an important responsibility for ensuring that environmental requirements and internal goals for environment and energy are met. The role encompasses overall responsibility for the department's targets, quality, and orderliness, while actively contributing to a safe work environment and a sustainable external environment. Within your area of responsibility, you have the authority to drive necessary activities and make decisions within given financial frameworks. With your competence, commitment, and process engineering focus, you become an important part of our continued work with development, quality, and continuous improvements. PERSONALITY AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with vocational or process engineering education at academic or upper secondary level, combined with broad technical competence and experience from the process industry. You have knowledge of chemistry and experience working with chemicals. You enjoy working "hands on" close to production and its processes. Experience with process development and systematic improvement work is a merit, as is knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. As a person, you are driven, engaged, and goal- and results-oriented. You take initiative, see opportunities, and are motivated by developing both processes and work practices. You have the ability to drive and monitor improvement work while being responsive and finding it easy to collaborate with others. You are quality- and safety-conscious, thorough, and professional in your approach and take responsibility for ensuring that set goals, requirements, and standards are met. You have strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture, while being able to translate ideas into concrete improvements in everyday work. You are flexible and thrive in an environment where development, problem-solving, and change are a natural part of the work. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the role. For us, continuous improvements are a natural part of everyday work. We are therefore looking for someone who not only wants to maintain what already works but wants to understand, challenge, and develop our processes to create even better results. Our values are built on being personally engaged, responsive, quick, and professional, with a strong desire to continuously improve our operations. We believe you share these values and want to contribute to a workplace where people, quality, safety, and development are in focus.
