Process Engineer - Consulting Assignment 4 months - AstraZeneca Tessero is now seeking a Process Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment at AstraZeneca in Södertälje. Here you will have a key role in developing, improving, and ensuring robust processes within pharmaceutical manufacturing. About the role: As a process engineer, you will work cross-functionally in projects or close to production and handle various process technical issues. The role is independent, varied, and involves close collaboration with multiple functions within the company. You report to the Head of Process Engineering. The assignment runs through December 31 with the possibility of extension. Located at API/Snäckviken. Examples of tasks: Participate in and lead cross-functional teams, primarily close to production, e.g., improvement projects. Investigate and address production deviations. Contribute to operational and investment projects. Lead or participate in validation and qualification of equipment and products. Serve as a process technical expert during regulatory inspections. Work on process improvements and document, analyze, and maintain process knowledge. We are looking for you who: Have a technical/scientific higher education with focus on chemical engineering or process engineering. Have previous experience from manufacturing industry, such as pharmaceuticals, food, or medical devices (required). Express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. Can share knowledge in cross-functional groups where progress is critical. Thrive in an environment with high rate of change and digitalization, and drive your tasks independently. Required experience working according to GMP. Meritorious: have previously worked within AZ/API Meritorious: experience working with control systems such as DeltaV. Meritorious: have experience with qualification, validation, and knowledge of LEAN and improvement work Meritorious: experience with digital tools such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, and ChatGPT.
